ReadCell VS320-DPE industrial DPM handheld
A corded handheld for codes marked straight onto metal. It combines direct white light with diffuse red and blue light for reflective surfaces, and its Ethernet version talks to the PLC over PROFINET or EtherNet/IP.
Marks on metal, read by hand
Dot-peened and laser-etched codes on steel, aluminum and cast parts. The ReadCell VS320-DPE switches between direct and diffuse light, and a red cross-hair laser shows the operator where it is reading.

VS320-DPE questions
Which version should I order?
The USB / RS232 version for a PC or serial host at the workstation. The Ethernet version if the reading should go to a PLC over PROFINET, EtherNet/IP or Modbus, or to a host over TCP/IP. The interface is fixed in hardware, so tell us which one when you order.
What kind of marks does it read?
Printed labels and codes marked directly on parts. Direct white light suits matte surfaces; diffuse red and blue light suit reflective ones. A 5 mil Data Matrix reads from 15 to 90 mm.
How is it powered?
5 VDC ±5%. The USB / RS232 version draws about 450 mA when operating, the Ethernet version about 480 mA.
