ReadCell VS80 embedded 2D scan module
Build 2D reading into machines and terminals with little room inside. The VS80 measures 40.5 × 21.5 × 25.8 mm, weighs 20 g and sends data over USB or RS232.
2D reading inside your machine
The VS80 is a module, not a stand-alone reader: it goes inside the equipment you build and sends the data over USB or RS232. It reads at any roll angle, with pitch and yaw up to ±65°.

VS80 questions
Module or housed reader: which do I need?
The VS80 is for building into your own equipment. If the reader is mounted over a line on its own, take a housed reader: the ReadCell VS90 has the same 1280 × 1024 resolution, USB and RS232C, an IP54 aluminum housing and digital I/O.
How does it connect to my controller?
Over USB or RS232. Tell us what your board or controller expects and we will check it before you order.
How is it powered?
Anything from 5 to 24 V: 300 mA when operating, 70 mA in standby and 240 mA at start-up.
Can it carry our brand?
