ReadCell VS400 corded 2D handheld scanner
A 147 g corded scanner for labels and printed codes, with a 1280 × 1024 global shutter sensor and a 44° × 34° field of view. Three focus versions: HD, HP and DPM.
One scanner body, three focus versions
The ReadCell VS400 is the general-purpose handheld in the range: a corded USB or RS232 scanner for logistics, retail, packaging and light manufacturing. Pick the HD, HP or DPM version by the codes you read; the housing and connections stay the same.

Printed labels
For printed 1D and 2D codes on labels and cartons. HP reaches further on 13 mil Code 39; HD starts closer on Data Matrix.

VS400 questions
HD, HP or DPM: which should I order?
HD or HP for printed labels; HP reads 13 mil Code 39 out to 52 cm. DPM for codes marked on the part itself, read close up. Send us a photo of the code and the distance if unsure.
Is there a cordless version?
Yes: the ReadCell VS402 has the same imaging, with 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 4.2 and a cradle.
How does it connect and how is it powered?
RS232, USB HID or USB COM. It runs on 5 VDC ±10%, about 380 mA when operating.
Can it carry our brand?
Yes. See OEM and private label for the options; MOQ is quoted per project.
